Mathematics Education

My mathematics education research focus has been on developing models of students’ and teachers’ ways of thinking in the context of precalculus and calculus topics. Specifically, my work has been to explore students’ and teachers’ quantitative and covariational reasoning and meanings of inverse. I am currently involved in a research team aimed at advancing secondary mathematics teachers' quantiative reasoning.
